Description
The JBL Flip 7 is a portable Bluetooth speaker designed for rugged, on-the-go use, featuring Bold JBL Pro Sound with AI Sound Boost, a durable IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating, and up to 16 hours of playtime.
Key Features and Design
- Audio Performance: The speaker delivers powerful and clear audio with deep bass, thanks to a 35W (RMS) two-way speaker system (25W woofer and 10W tweeter) and proprietary AI Sound Boost technology that optimizes the sound in real-time to reduce distortion at high volumes.
- Durability: It is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes and is fully dustproof. It also boasts a drop-proof design, built to survive drops of up to 1 meter onto concrete.
- Battery Life: The JBL Flip 7 offers up to 14 hours of music playtime on a single charge under normal use, with a "Playtime Boost" mode in the app that can extend the battery life to up to 16 hours by adjusting the EQ. The battery charges in approximately 2.5 hours via USB-C.
- Connectivity: It uses the latest Bluetooth 5.4 for a stable connection and features Auracast™ technology, allowing you to connect multiple Auracast-enabled JBL speakers for synchronized sound or a wider stereo sound stage. Note that it is not backward compatible with older JBL speakers using PartyBoost™.
